Education

Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering is a excellent Engineering school in Needham Massachusetts. Founded in 1997 on the premise of reimagining engineering education, Olin offers a challenging project-based curriculum that gives students the opportunity to work on many collabortive teams each year. Olin also brings key aspects of design and entrepeneurship into the curriculum. My studies at Olin focused on robotics and software engineering. I also had the opportunity to study sustainability through a tri-campus collaboration with neighboring Wellesley and Babson colleges. I graduated Olin in May 2015 with a degree entitled 'Engineering with a concentration in Robotics'.

Who Am I?

I'm a Robotics Engineer with a passion for sustainability and travel. I graduated from Olin College of Engineering with a BS in Engineering concentrating in Robotics where I developed a breadth of experience including biology research, programming, robotics, design, and sustainability.  As an impact driven engineer, I thrive on solving challenges that improve lives.

When I'm not actively engaged programming robots, I can often be found travelling. I love exploring different cultures and especially love trying local dishes.  I also enjoy scuba diving, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, tennis, and running.

I am David Elkan-Gonzalez and I thank you for taking the time to visit my portfolio.
